Man shot dead in front of kids in La Union

LUNA, La Union â€“ A 50-year-old man was shot dead in front of his children in Barangay Alcala here on Tuesday, February 20.

Police identified the victim as Alexander O. Concepcion.

Investigation said Concepcion had just arrived home with his two minor children from school at about 11 a.m. when two men on board a motorcycle arrived.

One of them approached the victim with a gun and shot him once in the head.

One of his children sustained minor injury. The other was unhurt.

The suspects fled and the victim was taken to the hospital by responding police officer where he was declared dead.

Police are conducting follow-up operations.
