Kyla opens up about suffering another miscarriage

OPM singer Kyla has revealed she suffered another miscarriage.

Kyla, 43, made the revelation when she guested with her husband, Rich Alvarez, in "Magandang Buhay" on ABS-CBN on Wednesday.

"For us 'yung biggest challenge would be giving Toby a sibling. We've been struggling for years and years and years. It's been really hard, especially very recent lang 'yung sa amin eh. Just before Christmas, actually, I suffered another one. 'Yun 'yung bigest challenge," said Kyla, according to a report by ABS-CBN News.

"But I am also very grateful and thankful kasi at least nabigyan kami ng isa at kung madadagdagan pa, bonus na lang 'yon. Kaya siguro siya rin ang ibinigay sa akin ni Lord -- si Rich -- kasi I don't think anyone would love me like the way he loves me or ever will love me. Parang feeling ko mahirap kasi akong mahalin. Siya lang talaga yung magmamahal sa akin ng ganito. So I am just really thankful."

This is the fifth time Kyla has suffered a miscarriage. In 2018, Kyla suffered two miscarriages; third, July 2021, and fourth, 2022.

Kyla and Rich have a son, Toby, 10.
