3 fall in Cebu City drug den raid

CEBU CITY – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested three persons in a drug den raid in Barangay Calamba here on Tuesday night, February 20.

Arrested were Eduardo Talingting, 51; Edlin Caballes, 41, and Constantino Bunal III, 38.

Leia Alcantara, PDEA-7 spokesperson, said Talingting was the drug den maintainer.

At least nine packs containing suspected shabu worth P78,000 were seized during the operation.

Alcantara said the Talingting was placed under surveillance for at least three weeks before the raid was carried out.

Based on the information that the PDEA-7 received, the suspect was capable of selling 30 to 40 grams of shabu a week, Alcantara said.

It was the fifth drug den in Cebu City and ninth in Central Visayas dismantled by the PDEA-7.
