3 drug pushers nabbed in buy-bust

BACOLOD CITY – Three suspected drug pushers were arrested and shabu worth P210,800 was seized in buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental on Monday, February 19.

In Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City, a 45-year-old waiter was arrested after he sold shabu to a police poseur-buyer. Recovered from the suspect was 16 grams of suspected shabu worth P108,800.

Police Lt. Col. Mark Anthony Darroca, Silay police chief, said the suspect was a part-time waiter and a street-level individual.

In Victorias City, two persons aged 27 and 31 were apprehended in Barangay 6 and they yielded 15 grams of shabu valued at P102,000 and the P500 marked money and an improvised tooter.
