2 women wanted for estafa, illegal recruitment, nabbed in Pasay
Two women, one of them a senior citizen, who are both wanted for four counts of bouncing checks and nine counts of estafa and illegal recruitment, were arrested upon their arrival in the country on February 20 and 21 in Pasay City.
City Police Chief Col. Mario Mayames identified the suspects as "Leonisa", 74, of San Antnio, Pasig City and "Nenita", 59, of Barangay Dupax, Malolos City.

Mayames said Leonisa was arrested at around 1:40 a.m. inside the Immigration Office, International Arrival Area of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on Feb. 21.
He said the suspect who has just arrived to the country from Hongkong was arrested by members of the Pasay police Villamor Sub-station.
The city police chief said the suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Anne Perpetual S. Rivera, of Manila Metropolitan Trial Court (MTC) Branch 12withbail recommended of P2,000.

On the other hand, Nenita was nabbed upon her arrival from Singapore by personnel of the Warrant Section and Investigation of Barbosa police station-14 Manila Police District in coordination with Pasay police Villamor Sub-station.
Maya es said Nenita was arrested at around 1:00 a.m. inside the Immigration Office, International Arrival Area of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on Feb. 20.
Nenita's arrest was by virtue of warrant of arrest in violation of nine counts of estafa and illegal recruitment issued by Judge Luisito G. Cortez, of Quezon City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Brancgh 84 with no bail recommended on Decembe 28, 2015.
Mayames said the suspect was immediately brought by members of the Barbosa police station-14 Manila Police District for detention and documentation.
