P3.4-M shabu seized in Cotabato City buy-bust

ILIGAN CITY â€“ Shabu worth P3.4 million was seized and a suspected drug pusher was arrested in a buy-bust operation on Sinsuat Ave., Barangay Poblacion 5, Cotabato City on Monday, February 19.

Police identified the suspect as Norhan Abdullah Padao, alias Datu Sajied and Garay, 25, from Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.

Padao yielded 500 grams of suspected shabu packed in 10 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets valued at P3.4 million, buy-bust money, a mobile phone, and an identification card.

The operation was a joint effort between the Cotabato City police, National Bureau of Investigation, Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group-Special Operations Unit, PNP Maritime Group, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Padao is under the custody of the PDEA and awaiting inquest proceedings for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
