The local government of Parañaque City opened the Botika ng Parañaque on Monday, Feb. 19, to provide the city residents with free medicines and vitamins.
According to Mayor Eric Olivarez, the Botika ng Parañaque inside the City Hall is the first pharmacy funded by the city government.
Olivarez said residents in need of medicine and vitamins must first visit their Barangay health center for “Konsulta Registration”.
Residents going to "Konsulta Registation” should bring their PhilHealth ID or member data record and one valid government-issued ID.
The mayor added that after the “Konsulta Registration”, they can get the Parañaque Universal Health Care Card, E-KAS (electronic konsulta availment slip) and E-PRES (electronic prescription) for them to avail free medicines and vitamins.
Olivarez was joined by City Health Office head Dr. Olga Virtusio and Eva Nono who represented Congressman Edwin Olivarez, and Councilors Marvin Santos and Pablo “Paolo” Olivarez during the launch of Botika ng Parañaque.
