DOH warns public anew vs 'fake' health product endorsements
The Department of Health (DOH) has reiterated its warning on Monday, February 19, about the proliferation of online fake endorsements, particularly for commercial products, such as milk or other supplements.

“This has come to our attention after discovering that there are commercial products, including milk or other supplements, claiming to be endorsed by the Department,” the DOH said in an advisory.
It emphasized that any endorsements falsely attributed to them are fabricated, deceptive, and not authorized by the department or any of its affiliated organizations.
Moreover, DOH pointed out that it does not engage in the promotion or endorsement of specific brands or commercial products.
It warned that if fraudulent endorsements continue, criminal charges could be brought against those responsible.
DOH reiterated its call for the public to rely only on legitimate sources and platforms, urging people to get official information from the health department through verified links and social media accounts.
