More than 1,000 individuals from the town of Rosario and nearby areas will benefit.

“These provisions are estimated to offer much-needed sustenance and comfort to families grappling with the aftermath of the floods,” Philsaga Mining President Raul C. Villanueva said.

Villanueva said the PMC-MMPRC Foundation Inc. remains steadfast in their dedication to the welfare of affected communities, demonstrating the power of corporate social responsibility in times of crisis.

"In times of crisis, we must come together and support one another, and Philsaga Mining Corp. remains dedicated to helping our neighbors in their time of need," he said.

"The PMC-MMPRC Foundation Inc. strives to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by disasters. We are committed to extending our assistance beyond mining operations and contributing to the community's welfare," PMFI Executive Officer Reygela M. Decalit said.

The PMFI had earlier conducted comprehensive relief operations in the municipality of Bunawan, Agusan del Sur, benefiting more than 1,000 individuals affected by flooding spawned by the shear line and low-pressure area.

"We are thankful for the timely support provided by the company,” said a local official in Rosario. “This assistance is a lifeline for our community as we navigate the challenges brought about by the recent floods. Their commitment to helping us rebuild is truly commendable," he added.
