Lorene Toring has decided to forgo his final collegiate year with Adamson by signing with Farm Fresh in the Premier Volleyball League, the team announced Saturday, Feb. 17.

The six-foot middle blocker is expected to suit up for the Foxies as soon as she fully recovers from her acute cruciate ligament (ACL) injury she sustained last month that caused her to sit out the UAAP Season 86 women’s tournament.
Toring, 24, was one of the catalysts that led the Lady Falcons to the Final Four last year with spikers Trisha Tubu and Kate Santiago including setter Louie Romero, who have pursued the pro rank shortly after the Season 85 ended.
“This one's worth the wait. As Lorene Toring celebrates her 24th birthday today, we welcome her into the Farm Fresh family as our newest Foxy for the 2024 PVL season! Your teammates, old and new, are waiting for you! We will roar together SOON!,” the post said.
Interestingly, Toring’s former Adamson teammates have all been with the Foxies since their inception in the 2023 PVL season.
Farm Fresh, though, is due for an early tough climb against defending champion Creamline Cool Smashers as they square off on Feb. 24 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
