The Manila Police District (MPD) reported on Friday, Feb. 16, that it arrested a 45-year-old man who convinced a 15-year-old girl to send him nude photos of her in exchange for money and gadgets.

The MPD identified the suspect as Dennis Gonzales, who was nabbed during an entrapment operation in Paco, Manila on Monday, Feb. 12.
According to the victim, the suspect sent her a friend request on Facebook last Feb. 5.
She accepted the suspect's friend request since the suspect was the one who helped them with financial assistance during the burial of her late brother-in-law.
The suspect suddenly offered her money and gadgets, which MPD said was considered "predatory conduct" or a pattern of acts of establishing a relationship or emotional connection with his victim to perform sexual abuse or exploitation.
The victim's sister found out about her sister's situation and immediately reported it to the authorities.
During the filing of the report, authorities also found out that the suspect demanded to meet the victim for sexual intercourse.
The police asked the victim to meet the suspect, where he was immediately arrested.
The arrested suspect is now detained at MPD and facing charges for violation of Article 286 (Grave Coercion), the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC), and the Anti-Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM) Act in relation to the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
