Caraga cops nab 10 most wanted persons

CAMP COL. RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Police arrested 10 most wanted persons in a one-day manhunt operation in the Caraga region on Thursday, February 15.

The Police Regional Office-13 said that among those apprehended were two most wanted individuals on the regional level.

PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft said one of them was the fourth MWP on the regional level.

The 24-year-old suspect was apprehended on a warrant of arrest for rape issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 29, Surigao City, dated February 6, with no bail recommended.

The Butuan City Police Office (BCPO) and Surigao del Sur Police Provincial Office (PPO) caught four persons each, followed by Agusan del Norte and Surigao del Norte PPOs with one each.

"I commend our hard-working PNP personnel and the support displayed by the community that led to the success of these police operations,” Kraft said, adding: “These lawbreakers will now face the consequences of their crimes."
