Ticket bought in Laguna yields new lotto millionaire

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Thursday, Feb. 16, said the winning ticket for the P64.1 million Super Lotto 6/49 was purchased at a lotto outlet in Lumban, Laguna.

The winning number combination in the Feb. 15 draw was 19-10-08-24-20-13, which was correctly guessed by only one bettor.

PCSO said because the jackpot prize exceeded P10,000, it would be subject to a 20 percent tax deduction under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law.

If the jackpot prize remains unclaimed one year after the draw date, it will be forfeited and will go to the PCSO Charity Fund, as stated under Republic Act 1169 or the PCSO Charter.

The 6/49 draw is held every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
