LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The Benguet Provincial Police Office has a new leader.

Police Col. Joseph Bayongasan, former chief of the Regional Intelligence Unit-14, officially assumed as leader of the BPPO vice Police Col. Damian Olsim during the assumption of command ceremony in Camp Major Bado Dangwa here on February 16.
Police Regional Office-Cordillera Director Police Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr. presided over the event.
Police Col. Arnold Razote, chief of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division, read the termination order of Damian and the designation order of Bayongasan.
Bayongasan thanked the Philippine National Police leadership for entrusting him to lead the Benguet PPO.
He sought the utmost cooperation and support of lawmen for peace and order in the province.
Peredo cited Olsim for a job well done as Benguet police chief.
