Zendaya elevates red-carpet dressing game with her cyborg look

For the premiere of “Dune: Part Two,” the actress wore an archival look from Mugler

These days, the best style moments can be spotted not just on the runway and in fashion magazines but also on the red carpet premieres. Stars put on a show even before the audience get a glimpse of their latest performance on the big screen. This kind of showcase doesn't just create buzz but it also gives a myriad of style inspirations, and for some, a dose of fashion education.

An example of that was Zendaya’s latest appearance on the red carpet. For the London premiere of "Dune: Part Two," the actress wore a silver robot-inspired couture piece designed by the late Thierry Mugler. The cyborg look was part of his "Cirque d'hiver" fall-winter collection in 1995 and featured an incredible metallic sheen and strategic cut-outs. Completing Zendaya's look was a statement necklace courtesy of Bulgari.

It's not only Zendaya who turned up the volume when it comes to red carpet looks. Her fellow "Dune" stars also graced the red carpet wearing stunning ensembles. Florence Pugh donned a custom Valentino brown sequin dress with a hood by Pierpaolo Piccioli. Ethereal was Anya Taylor Joy in her immaculate white gown by Dior. While Timothée Chalamet presented his take on the futurism style with his Haider Ackermann 'fit.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve, "Dune: Part Two" will hit the theaters in the Philippines on Feb. 28.
