VP Duterte to fellow respiratory therapists: 'Be a force for change'

Vice President Sara Duterte, who is a respiratory therapy graduate, commended the passers of the February 2024 Licensure Exam for Respiratory Therapists, asking them to “transform lives” and “create an unstoppable force for change.”

In a statement on Tuesday, Feb. 13, the official congratulated the new board passers for their “exceptional success” because their “victory is a testament to your unwavering perseverance, dedication, and the immense support of your loved ones.”
“Reflecting upon your journey, take pride in the fact that your accomplishments not only showcase your exceptional knowledge and skills but also illuminate the profound passion that resides within you,” she said.
“Your burning desire to improve the lives of your fellow Filipinos shines brightly and will continue to drive you forward on your path,” she added.
The Vice President told the new board passers that it is time to enjoy the fruits of their labor and to embrace this milestone in their life “as a stepping stone to greater success.”
“Ignite a hunger to push boundaries, transform lives. You're not alone; lean on your passionate community. Together, create an unstoppable force for change,” Duterte said.
The official said further that each step they have taken has brought them to making a “real difference” in the world of respiratory care as she lauded their “countless hours of dedication” honing their craft, skills, and knowledge.
Duterte is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy from the San Pedro College in Davao City before receiving her Juris Doctor degree from the San Sebastian College – Recoletos in the City of Manila.
