Four persons were arrested by authorities in a buy-bust operation that resulted in the seizure of suspected shabu in Taguig on Feb. 13.
The joint operation was conducted by the Southern Police District (SPD) Drug Enforcement Unit , District Intelligence Division, District Mobile Force Battalion, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Southern District Office (PDEA-SDO), and the Taguig Police Substation 9 at about 9:30 p.m. on Reyes Street, Road 3 Purok 3, Barangay New Lower Bicutan, Taguig.

Arrested during the operation were alias Burong, 23, tagged as a high value individual (HVI); alias Bon, 28; alias Sarah, 27; and alias Juday, 43. They were nabbed for alleged violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
During the operation, authorities seized seven plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 100 grams with a total value of P680,000; one genuine P1,000 bill on top of 63 pieces of P1,000 boodle money; and two cell phones.
"The operation reflects the unwavering commitment of SPD to ensuring the safety and security of our community. We will continue to intensify our efforts to rid our streets of illegal drugs and apprehend those who seek to jeopardize the well-being of our citizens,” said SPD Director Brig. Gen. Mark Pespes.
