Queen of All Media Kris Aquino gave a live interview from California on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda on GMA Network and shared an update on her health on Valentine's Day.
Wearing a pink sweater and appearing bubbly, Kris revealed that her battle with multiple autoimmune conditions has made little progress since 2022 due to medication limitations.
She stated that taking fever reducers and steroids have adverse effects on her body.
Kris, who turned 53 today, confided in her best friend Boy that there are many things she can no longer do, although she did not go into detail.
"I can't promise you that. Ang dami ng hindi ko kayang gawin. Pero ito po ang pangako ko sa inyo. Hindi ko kayo bibiguin. Wala sa pananaw ko na puwedeng sumuko," said Kris In response to her fans who were waiting fior her showbiz comeback.
Kris added: "Kailangan lumaban. Hindi ko ipapahiya ang sarili ko sa inyo dahil binigyan ninyo ako ng pinakamagandang regalo: ang pagmamahal ninyo, ang suporta ninyo at mga dasal ninyo. I know you're praying for me."
Prior to her live interview, Kris Aquino's sister Viel reminded her to fix herself as she was going on national television after two years.
"Viel says I hope naka-ayos ka at ayokong kaawaan ka ng mga tao. I refuse to die. My next chapter is to become a stage mother," Kris said.
Kris ended her appearance on the show by congratulating Boy who renewed his contract with GMA Network.
