Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola set church wedding on Feb. 15

Actors Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola are getting married again on Feb. 15.

Finance Secretary Ralph Recto confirmed the date of the church wedding, which forced him to move the scheduled monetary authorities meeting to Valentine's Day, Feb. 14.

A Thomson Reuters report said: "The reason for holding the meeting earlier was because some participants would be attending a wedding, he told reporters. A press conference to announce the central bank's decision on the benchmark rate will push through as scheduled on Thursday, Feb. 15, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas said."

"We have to attend a wedding on Thursday, my stepson and Gov. Eli's niece," said Recto.

The wedding affected the BSP Monetary Board Policy meeting, a much-anticipated announcement for the banking community.

On Feb. 3, Jessy confirmed that she and Luis would marry again in a church during the Health and Wellness Expo at SM Megamall.

Jessy did not reveal the date of the church wedding, but ABS-CBN reported that it could take place on Feb. 15.

"Dream wedding namin," said Jessy during an interview with the Kapamilya Network.

Luis and Jessy were married at a church in Coron, Palawan.

This was confirmed by ABS-CBN entertainment journalist MJ Felipe in a tweet on Feb. 15.

The tweet said that the couple had a church wedding, which was officiated by Fr. Tito Caluag. The event was attended by close friends and family members. No other details were given.

On Feb. 21, 2021, Jessy and Luis married in a civil ceremony at The Farm in San Benito in Batangas.

Their daughter Rosie, also known as Peanut, is expected to be a little bridesmaid in the wedding ceremony.

Jessy also announced her showbiz comeback this year.
