LUCENA CITY, Quezon – A bomb threat disrupted operations of a Social Security System (SSS) branch here on Monday afternoon, February 11.

Police said the branch manager, Sherlie Calusin, received an emailed bomb threat from an anonymous sender at around 4 p.m. Security immediately evacuated all people from the office.
Lawman and the Provincial Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit conducted a sweep inside and outside the office.
PECU issued an all clear at around 5:30 p.m. after no explosive device was found inside or around the office.
Authorities are tracing the origin of the email.
