PLM allows students to wear civilian clothes on Valentine's week
Students of Pamantasan Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) were allowed to wear civilian clothes in celebration of Valentine's week.
According to the university management, PLM Supreme Student Council Memorandum (PSM) No. 2024-19 permits students to wear civilian attire from Feb. 12 to 17.
PLM reminded that all students are still required to comply with the student dress code, which prohibits them from wearing sleeveless, sando, and crop tops during the week-long celebration of Valentine’s Day.
The students were also urged to express their love-related sentiments by wearing any of the 10 colored attires in line with the "Tindig Pag-Ibig" event spearheaded by PLM College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
PLM said the color of their attire represents their relationship status.
“The Council believes that with this gesture will stimulate a more conducive environment for learning as the University start the second semester and allow students to socialize through their attire relevant for their social development,” the memorandum read.
