P5.2-M marijuana seized in Nueva Vizcaya

BAGABAG, Nueva Vizcaya – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested three suspected drug pushers in a buy-bust operation here on Monday afternoon, February 12.

MARIJUANA valued at P5.2 million was seized in a drug sting in Nueva Vizcaya. (PDEA) 

Suspects Mae, 52; Jenny, 52, and Mark, 46, yielded 44 bricks of dried marijuana leaves weighing 44 kilos worth P5.2 million, three cellphones, and a Nissan Escapade van with license plates NVI-165.

PDEA-Region 2 Director Levi Ortiz said suspects were considered high-value targets.

Ortiz congratulated the apprehending PDEA agents and backup police officers.

Suspects face drug-related charges.
