SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – Police arrested a man tagged as a national most wanted person in Barangay Bungol, Balaoan, this province, on Sunday, February 11.
Police Major Rey Sales of the Philippine National Police-Regional Highway Patrol Unit 2 identified the suspect as Roy Guno, a resident of Barangay Sillawit, Cauayan City, Isabela and Bohol.
Sales said the suspect had six warrants of arrest for carnapping in Ilocos Norte, Davao City, and Cauayan City.
Guno also had warrants of arrest for six counts of estafa in Cauayan City and Abulog, Cagayan.
Sales said they coordinating with other police units to determine the extent of the suspect’s activities.
Guno was reportedly the leader of a bankrupt cooperative.
The RHPU-2 was backed up by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-2 and other police units.
