Ivana Alawi firmly denies being in a romantic relationship with Mayor Albee Benitez: 'I am currently seeing someone who makes me happy'

Actress and social media influencer Ivana Alawi said she was hurt by the allegations thrown at her family after she was linked to Mayor Albee Benitez of Bacolod City.

"Because of the false accusations and hurtful words that are being thrown to my mom, kinailangan ko ng linawin ang mga baga," said Ivana.

At first, Ivana stayed quiet because she knew she had done nothing wrong.

Ivana firmly denied being in a romantic relationship with Mayor Albee.

"Hindi po ako ang nasasabing girlfriend ni Mayor Albee Benitez. I met him when I had work in Bacolod. He was very accomodating and friendly. At hindi lang siya ang nakilala kong politiko at naging kaibigan," she also said.

Ivana also said that she's seeing someone who makes her happy.

"All I can say is that she's a respectable businessman and not a politician," she added.
