Cold nights, light rains to persist over Luzon — PAGASA
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the public should enjoy this moment as cold temperatures, particularly at night, may persist in Luzon due to the northeast monsoon.

In the PAGASA’s 4 a.m. live broadcast, weather specialist Obet Badrina said the northeast monsoon, locally known as "amihan," may continue to affect Luzon in the following days, which may bring cold weather conditions and light rains.
"I-enjoy pa rin natin iyong malamig na temperatura lalo na sa gabi (Enjoy cold temperature especially in the evening)," Badrina said.
In Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon, cloudy skies with light rains will be expected, while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by amihan, based on PAGASA's 4 a.m. bulletin.
Meanwhile, it warned of flash floods or landslides in Eastern Visayas, Capiz, Aklan, Iloilo, Bicol Region, and Romblon in times of moderate to heavy rains.
PAGASA said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be felt in these areas due to shear line—an area where the cold northeasterly winds and warm easterlies converge—and the easterlies or the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean.
Moreover, the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA also warned the public of flash floods or landslides that may occur during severe thunderstorms.
