Justin Brownlee is just grateful for the opportunity to play at a high-level tournament as he suits up for Barangay Ginebra in the next conference.

The 35-year-old Brownlee expressed his excitement to wear his red-and-white jersey again in front of the roaring loyal fans.
But, despite his eagerness to perform and win his seventh PBA title in the Governors' Cup, Brownlee knew that his deadly touch would soon fade.
“I can’t wait for that moment, I’ve gotten older, I’m not [a] young guy anymore. Every opportunity to play, especially for Ginebra, I’m at an age that you’ll never know. Things can happen,” Brownlee said on Friday, Feb. 9.
“Every opportunity I get, I’m just going to cherish it and try to make the best out of it. I can’t wait to put on the Ginebra jersey again, and not only [to] represent Ginebra, but it’s like you represent the Philippines [when you’re] playing for Ginebra,” he added.
The 6-foot-6 spitfire will suit up anew for the Gin Kings as he fulfilled his three-month FIBA suspension after testing positive for a banned substance.
Brownlee took his time to watch the ongoing finals matchup of the San Miguel Beermen and Magnolia Hotshots in Game 4 of the 2023- ‘24 PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals where he was warmly welcomed by the players and the league officials.
The Ginebra star didn't forget to offer sweet words for King' reinforcement Tony Bishop who filled the void in his absence.
“I give a lot of credit to Tony Bishop. He came and played his hardest [and] he tried his best for the team,” Brownlee addressed.
“They got to the semifinals, even though they didn’t win a championship, I think they did great in this conference,” he added.
