Clark security guard injured in hit-and-run

ANGELES CITY – A security guard was injured in a hit-and-run incident at the Clark Freeport Zone main gate on Manuel A. Roxas Ave. here on Sunday, February 11.

The Angeles City Traffic Enforcement Unit identified the victim as Gilbert Lopez Tabing.

Police said the victim was crossing the main gate when he was hit by a speeding Toyota Vios at around 6:23 a.m.

Tabing sustained injuries and was given first aid. He was later brought to a hospital.

Police said they will coordinate with the Land Transportation Office to identify the owner and license plate of the vehicle.

The incident was captured on surveillance camera.
