VP Duterte: Channel Dragon's bravery to conquer obstacles

Duterte said this as she joined the Filipino-Chinese community in celebrating the coming of the Year of the Dragon on Feb. 10.

In her message, the Vice President asked Filipinos to embrace the vibrant energy of the Year of the Wooden Dragon and welcome it with open arms.

"As the legend goes, this auspicious creature is a symbol of good fortune and abundance, embodying strength, bravery, and triumph," she wrote.

"Let us channel its remarkable qualities to conquer any obstacles that come our way and pursue our wildest dreams," she added.

Vice President Duterte enjoined the public to gather with their loved ones, exchange heartfelt blessings, and revel in the enchanting festivities of the Chinese New Year.

"Immerse yourself in the timeless traditions that have been passed down for generations," she said.

With the spirited essence of the Wood Dragon, Duterte wished for boundless success in every Filipino's life.

"Embrace this fresh chapter with optimism and open hearts, ready to embrace the infinite possibilities that lie ahead," she said.
