70-year-old vendor found dead in Quiapo

A 70-year-old woman was found dead on Quezon Boulevard in Quiapo, Manila on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 10.

Manila Police District identified the woman as Jopra Domingo, a vendor and resident of Barangay 391, Quiapo.

A concerned citizen reported to MPD Barbosa Police Station about the death of the vendor.

Based on the initial investigation, the victim was last seen alive sitting on her monobloc chair.

Witnesses said the victim was discovered lifeless still sitting on the same chair.

Some bystanders said the victim was suffering from a lingering illness.

Police are still conducting an in-depth investigation on the incident.
