Man wanted for illegal recruitment in Dagupan City nabbed in Pasay City

A man wanted for large-scale illegal recruitment in Dagupan City was arrested by Pasay City police on Friday, Feb. 9.
The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspect identified as alias Jamil, 59, was nabbed at around 10:30 a.m. on Pasadena St. in Barangay 77, Pasay City.
Pasay City police chief Col. Mario Mayames said Jamil was arrested by virtue of warrant issued by Judge Dorothy Jimenez Alarcon-Padilla of Dagupan Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 42 on January 22, 2021 for large-scale illegal recruitment with no recommended bail.
Mayames said Jamil was detained at the Pasay police custodial facility and the issuing court will be notified of his arrest.
