Eleven additional closed-circuit television (CCTV) equipment were installed around Divisioria market in Binondo, Manila.

The Manila Police District installed the new CCTVs on Friday, Feb. 9, to maintain peace and order and provide immediate response at any time.

Police said there are a total of 32 CCTVs in the area freely monitored by the Dagupan Outpost as well as the Manila City Hall in real-time.

An assigned personnel is managing the equipment in a locked-up room inside a precinct in the area, police added.

Through the cameras, the cleanliness, foot traffic, and safety of the streets can be easily observed.
