BACOLOD CITY – Police arrested a 19-year-old man tagged as the fifth most wanted person in Western Visayas in Barangay Bulad, Isabela, Negros Occidental on Thursday, February 1.

The suspect was charged with rape and violation of Republic Act 9995 (Section 4(A) and Section 4(D) of Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009.
Police served two arrest warrants against the suspect who was monitored by lawmen in less than a week.
Arrest warrants were issued by Presiding Judge Cyclamen Jison Fernandez of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 63 in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental on January 23.
The court recommended no bail for rape while a P21,000 was recommended for each count in the other case.
Police Capt. Ar-jay Dangarang, Isabela police chief, said the suspect was also tagged as ninth MWP in the province and seventh MWP in the town.
Dangarang said the suspect victimized a minor female last July. The victim had no idea that the suspect was secretly taking a video of their sexual act that he uploaded online, he added.
He said the suspect was considered MWP because his crimes were considered sensational or heinous.
The suspect is detained at the Isabela Municipal Police Station.
