Love-struck luck: Lone bettor wins P5.9-M Lotto 6/42 jackpot on Feb. 1

A solo bettor is likely to have the sweetest Valentine's Day yet after winning the Lotto 6/42 jackpot during the draw of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Thursday, Feb. 1, --- the first day of the love month.

Thirteen days before Valentine's Day, the PCSO announced that a lone bettor had won the 6/42 jackpot worth P5,940,000.

The winner correctly guessed the 6/42 winning digit combination: 03-31-14-19-35-13.

In addition, 26 players will bring home P24,000 each for the second prize, and 1,420 bettors will win P800 each for the third prize.

The Lotto 6/42 draw is held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Meanwhile, none of the players correctly guessed the 29-44-23-17-19-35 Super Lotto 6/49 winning digit combination with a jackpot of P32.6 million.

However, 15 players won P50,000 each for the second prize, and 1,071 bettors won P1,200 each for the third prize.

The next Super Lotto draw will be on Feb. 3.

Here are the results for the other digit games: 29-25 for 2D Lotto, 4-8-7 for 3D Lotto, and 8-9-4-6-6-6 for 6D Lotto.
