Drug pusher yields P714,000 shabu

BACOLOD CITY – About 105 grams of suspected shabu worth P714,000 were seized from a 45-year-old drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in Purok Hollow Blocks, Barangay Singcang-Airport here on Thursday, February 1.

The Special Operations Unit (SOU)-6, Police Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG), and Police Station 8 arrested
“Jojo” from Barangay Singcang-Airport.

Jojo yielded 30 sachets of shabu, marked money, and non-drug items.

Police Brig. Gen. Sidney Villaflor, Police Regional Office (PRO)-Western Visayas chief, said the successful operation underscores the commitment of the police to eradicate the menace of illegal drugs in the community.

He commended the collaborative efforts of the operating units involved. Drug charges are being readied against the suspect.
