"Eat Bulaga" host Jose Manalo and former "EB" babe Mergene Maranan are getting married.

This after Jose proposed to Mergene on Dec. 2, in a video posted by Jose and Mergene on their social media accounts.

Before the proposal, Jose could be seen singing Yeng Constantino's "Ikaw."

Then Jose went to the poolside area, where Mergene followed him.

As their friends gathered around and cheered, Jose knelt on one knee and held out the ring to propose to Mergene.

"Will you marry me?" asked Jose.

An emotional Mergene answered: "Yes!" Then they embraced and kissed each other. Jose also gave Mergene flowers.

Jose was previously married to Anna Lyn Manalo, who passed away in January 2022. They have five children Sherwin Nicco, Don Benjamin, Myki, Ai, and Colyn.
