Cops arrest 2 wanted persons for rape in separate operations in Las Piñas

Members of the Las Piñas City Police arrested two men who were tagged as the top wanted persons in the city during a separate operation conducted by the members of the Warrant and Subpoena Section on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Las Piñas City Police chief, Col. Sandro Tafalla identified the suspects as “Edison,” 27, tagged as the Top 6 wanted person, and "Dexter," 24, tagged as the Top 5 most wanted person.

Tafalla said Dexter was arrested at around 7 a.m. while Edison was arrested at around 7:20 a.m. on Sunday, and both were immediately detained at the Las Piñas City Police custodial facility.

He said the suspects were both facing violations of rape and were arrested by a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Nerina C.N. Anastacio Mendinueto of the Las Piñas City Regional Trial Court Branch 199 with no bail recommended.
