Early Christmas gift: 1,000 students benefit from Tayabas City educational assistance

TAYABAS CITY, Quezon – One-thousand college, senior high, and junior high school students here received educational assistance from the city government on Friday, Dec. 6.

Mayor Lovely Reynoso-Pontioso led the distribution of the early Christmas gift under the Dagdag-Baon Educational Assistance Program of the city government facilitated by the City Treasurer’s and Social Welfare Offices.

Two-hundred fifty college students received P4,000 each and 750 senior high and junior high school students were recipients of P2,000 each.

Beneficiaries were assessed and passed the program’s strict criteria.
