Cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms are expected in parts of Luzon on Saturday, Dec. 7.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), in its weather forecast, said the shear line will affect the eastern section of Northern Luzon, while the northeast monsoon (amihan) will influence extreme Northern Luzon.
The shear line is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms to Cagayan, Isabela, and Apayao.
Meanwhile, the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms to the Caraga and Davao regions.
Batanes will experience cloudy skies with light rain due to the northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA has warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rain or severe thunderstorms.
