6-vehicle collision causes heavy traffic in Antipolo

A road accident involving six vehicles occurred on Sumulong Highway in Barangay Mambugan, Antipolo City on Saturday afternoon Dec. 7, Antipolo City Mayor Jun Ynares said.

The involved vehicles included two trucks, a luxury car, a black sedan, a white pickup truck, and a red SUV.

Witnesses said one of the trucks plowed through the rest of the vehicles. No one was hurt in the collision.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.

Meanwhile, the crash caused heavy traffic affecting commuters and motorists in the area as the involved vehicles and debris from the crash occupied one lane of the highway.

Ynares urged motorists to stay safe and be responsible in driving.
