YouTube reveals 2024's top trending videos, creators in PH

YouTube, the go-to platform for videos, unveiled the top trending videos, music videos, and creators that took the Philippines by storm in 2024.

For the Philippines, YouTube has become the new TV as people turn to the popular streaming platform to get their regular dose of video entertainment — whether it’s vlogs, music videos or how-to content.

To wrap up the year, YouTube has the list of top trending videos, music videos, and creators in the Philippines.

At the very top of the trends is Filipino content creator Esnyr’s kilig-inducing romcom short “Highschool Heartbreak Experience.”

YouTube is also the main place to watch LSS-worthy music videos anytime, anywhere. After the breakout year that they’ve had, it’s no surprise that the Nation’s Girl Group BINI has the top spot with two of their hits: “Salamin, Salamin” and the global smash “Cherry On Top.”

For Filipinos, OPM reigns supreme with all but one of the spots in the Top 10 being taken by local songs.

He added, "It's where they connect with what matters to them, discover new trends, and celebrate their passions. YouTube has truly become the new TV, a space where Filipinos come together to be entertained, informed, and inspired."
