QC gov’t issues traffic advisory for Maginhawa Arts and Food Festival 2024


The Quezon City government announced road closures and re-routing schemes for the Maginhawa Arts and Food festival 2024 on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Traffic re-routing scheme will be implemented from 9:00 a.m. on Dec. 7 until 12:00 midnight on Dec. 8.

Masinsinan street cor. B Baluyot Street up to Maginhawa Street cor. Mahabagin Street will closed to traffic.

Malingap, Mapagkawanggawa, Matimtiman, and Mahiyain Streets will be open for two-way traffic. 

All vehicles coming from Maginhawa Street going to Malingap Street shall pass through Madasalin Street, right to Mapagkawanggawa Street, then left to Malingap Street. 

Meanwhile, vehicles going to Kalayaan Avenue from Maginhawa Street may turn left to Madasalin Street, right to Matino Street, then right to Kalayaan Avenue.

Motorists should expect heavy traffic in the area and are advised to take alternative routes.

Personnel from Traffic and Transport Management Department (TTMD) and the Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS) will be on standby in the said areas.
