Over P1-M shabu seized in Bulacan buy-bust

The Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) confiscated P1,020,680 worth of illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation on Thursday, Dec. 5.

The suspects were identified as “Jonjon” 40, “TJ” 32, “Jeff Punk” 38, and “Ratboo” 20.

BPPO chief Col. Satur Ediong said that the suspects are considered high-value individuals involved in illegal drug operations.

Operatives from the BPPO Intelligence Unit and the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) conducted the operation in Barangay Tibag, Pulilan, Bulacan.

They successfully purchased P1,000 worth of shabu from one of the suspects, leading to their immediate arrest.

Police recovered 150.1 grams of shabu, worth P1,020,680, and the buy-bust money.

The arrested suspects will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, authorities said.
