High-value individual yields P120,000 marijuana in Dasmariñas

CAVITE – Authorities collared a high-value individual and confiscated P120,000 worth of suspected marijuana in a buy-bust operation in Dasmariñas City on Thursday, Dec. 5.

The suspect, identified as alias Boss, was apprehended by the Provincial Intelligence Unit in collaboration with the Dasmariñas Component City Police Station (CCPS) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Cavite.

The suspect is now under police custody and is facing a charge for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

In a statement, Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) Director Dwight E. Alegre emphasized that the arrest of the suspect and the confiscation of a significant quantity of illegal drugs reflect their ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and security of local communities.

He also assured the public that efforts to fight illegal drugs in the province remain relentless.
