Motor taxi rider busted for P1.36-M shabu in Rizal buy-bust
A 34-year-old motor taxi rider tagged as a high-value individual (HVI) involved in the illegal drugs trade was arrested during a buy-bust operation in San Mateo, Rizal.

The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) identified the suspect as “Ramos.” He was arrested following the joint operation conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office 4A Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET) 1 and Rizal PPO in Barangay Ampid 1 last Dec. 2.
Authorities seized four packets containing around 200 grams of suspected shabu estimated to be worth P1,360,000 and other non-drug evidence.
Rizal PPO director Col. Felipe Maraggun said that the suspect’s drug supplies are coming from Metro Manila and his areas of operation included Quezon City and nearby cities.
The suspect is currently detained at the PDEA 4A Custodial Facility and is facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
