Drug suspect arrested in Las Piñas City

A drug suspect was arrested by members of the Las Piñas City Police Drug Enforcement Unit in a buy-bust operation in possession of P188,428 worth of shabu on Tuesday night, Dec. 3.

Las Piñas City Police chief Col. Sandro Tafalla said the suspect, identified as alias “Bossing,” 25, and tagged as a street value individual (SLI), was arrested at around 8:30 p.m. in Barangay Talon Dos, Las Piñas City.

Confiscated from the suspect were around 27.71 grams of shabu worth P188,428, a brown coin purse, one cellular phone, and the P100 used as the buy-bust money.

He said the confiscated shabu was turned over to the Southern Police District (SPD) Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.

The suspect was detained at the Las Piñas City Police custodial facility and was charged for illegal possession of drugs.
