Security guard kills self after shooting 2 daughters dead

BACOLOD CITY â€“ A security guard killed his two daughters then himself in Barangay Buntis, Bacong, Negros Oriental on Thursday morning, Dec. 5.

Police Lt. Stephen Polinar, spokesperson of the Negros Oriental police, said that the 30-year-old suspect went to the house of his wife to ask permission to take their two children aged three and five with him. The couple was separated.

His wife refused, triggering an altercation. The suspect drew his 9mm service firearm, and fired at his wife who managed to dodge and flee.

Polinar said that the suspect shot his two daughters then himself.

The two children were declared dead in a hospital.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
