Zamboanga City ushers in Christmas

ZAMBOANGA CITY – This city ushered in the Yuletide season with the traditional switch on of the Christmas display on Friday, Nov. 29.

THE Zamboanga City Hall is bright with Christmas lights.

The event led by Mayor John Dalipe and Rep. Mannix Dalipe also launched the Festival de Navidad 2024 or Christmas Festival 2024 here.

Thousands of people flocked to the Zamboanga City Hall and crowded the fully lighted parks within the vicinity.

The city government allocated P4 million for this year’s Christmas decorations.

Aside from the Zamboanga City Hall, the city government also decorated the Paseo del Mar, Plaza Pershing, and parks within the vicinity and major thoroughfares.

The Integrated Bus Terminal, a well-visited area in the east coast, also launched its own Christmas display for the holidays.
