Sue Ramirez talks about Dominic Roque and working with Piolo Pascual

Fresh from her one-month vacation in Siargao, actress Sue Ramirez confirmed that she and actor Dominic Roque are "seeing each other" in response to a viral video that circulated showing them island-hopping and getting intimate in a bar last month.

Showbiz media asked Sue about the status of her relationship with Dominic who broke off his engagement with Kapuso star Bea Alonzo in January this year. Sue, meanwhile, split with her boyfriend of five years, Victorias City Mayor Javi Benitez, last July.

Sue said she and 34-year-old Dominic were in the getting-to-know-you stage. "Basta I'm happy. We're enjoying each other's company. That's all I can say for now," she replied when asked about Dominic after the mediacon of her 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival Movie with Vic Sotto, Piolo Pascual, Cristine Reyes, Sid Lucero and other stars.

"I'm very happy and also excited for this movie," she added.

Sue spoke about another kind of excitement, that of working for the first time with Piolo in "The Kingdom" where she plays the role of Dayang Lualhati in the drama slash alternate reality movie depicting the Philippines as a monarchy.

"Nakaka-starstruck talaga si Piolo...as in! Guys, kung ano yung nakikita nyo on screen, hindi lang doble, triple. Grabe talaga. Nakaka-overwhelm yung presence ni Papa P.  It's such an honor to be working with him," she gushed.

(You get really star-struck with Piolo...as in! Guys, what you see onscreen - make it double or triple. It's too much. I was really overwhelmed with the presence of Papa Pi.)

Sue said that while she plays the role of a Disney-like princess in "The Kingdom," she has scenes with Piolo, who is cast as a member of the lower class of society.

"Kunyari, hindi ako kinakabahan. Yung mga unang eksena namin ni Papa Pi, chill-chill lang ako. casual lang ako. Pero yung totoo, kinakabahan talaga ako," the 28-year old actress added.

(I was pretending I wasn't nervous, chilling, and acting casually. But the reality was that I was nervous.)
