#SpotifyWrapped reveals top artists, songs, albums in 2024 

Leading music streaming platform Spotify revealed 2024’s top global artists, songs, albums, podcasts and audiobooks.

Taylor Swift is Spotify’s 2024 Global Top Artist, the second consecutive year that she bagged the title. 

"In her Global Top Artist era. Congratulations Taylor Swift on over 26+ billion streams in 2024," Spotify posted on X (formerly Twitter). 

Spotify announced that it is adding a Wrapped badge on Swift’s Spotify profile to recognize her for being the Global Top Artist of the year.

It is also unveiling special billboards in different cities around the globe to celebrate her triumph. The billboards will be featured in Manila, New York City, Toronto, Jakarta, São Paolo, Mexico City, London, Berlin, Los Angeles, Nashville, and Miami.

Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department” set records on Spotify. 

On April 19, it became the first album in Spotify history to have over 300 million streams in a single day. 

Less than 12 hours after release, the album emerged as the most-streamed album in a single day in 2024. 

It also broke another record on release day as “Fortnight (feat. Post Malone)” became the most-streamed song in a single day in Spotify history.
