ZAMBOANGA CITY – The Police Regional Office-9 (Zamboanga Peninsula) has launched the Project for Assisting Caring Engagement (PACE) to care for ailing police personnel.
Mary Rose Marbil, national adviser of the Philippine National Police Officers’ Ladies Club Foundation Inc. and wife of PNP chief Police Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil, graced the launching on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the PRO-9 multipurpose hall in Camp Abendan, this city, as guest of honor.

The program provides support and assistance to PNP personnel with terminal illnesses and critical medical conditions, especially those sustained during police operations.
PRO-9 Director Police Brig. Gen. Bowenn Joey Masauding said 41 police personnel have so far been benefited from PACE.
Masauding stressed the command’s commitment to care for their personnel during challenging times.
The program was established by PRO-9 in collaboration with the PNP Officers’ Ladies Club Foundation Inc.
